El NINO’S
ACCOYO
VULCAN
really has
that “wow”
factor! We
knew it the
moment he
was born.
His maturity
has only
reinforced
our opinion.
VULCAN
impresses
everyone who
sees him.
He displays
a regal
presence and
strong bone
confirmation.
His fleece
density is
immediately
apparent,
and the
coverage is
full right
down to his
toes.
Opening his
fleece is a
joy, both
for its soft
handle and
bright
visual
impact. It
parts easily
and evenly
with no
webbing.
His fleece
displays a
crimp style
characterized
as high
amplitude
and high
frequency.
The lock
structure is
uniform and
organized
into small
tight
bundles.
This
uniformity
carries well
down his
legs.
Show judges
are equally
impressed
when they
judge him.
VULCAN has
only been
entered in
four shows.
Yet he has
brought home
a color
championship,
two reserve
color
championships,
and three
blue
ribbons!
At the 2007
AWE Fleece
Show, judge
Diane
Timmerman
awarded
VULCAN a
total of
90.5 points:
19 0f 20 for
fineness, 9
of 10 for
character,
and 20 of 20
for weight.
His third
year blanket
weighed an
impressive 7
pounds.
VULCAN’S
genetic
credentials
are
impressive -
- no wonder
the
ribbons.
His sire is
PCA ACCOYO
EL NINO who
needs no
introduction,
having won
many ribbons
and numerous
Get of Sire
awards. His
dam,
SENORITA
ACCOYO
CHIQUITA, a
VENGADOR
daughter, is
a ribbon
winner
herself. At
the 2006 AWE
Show she
placed first
in the
Produce of
Dam class.
VULCAN’S
first crias
will be born
this summer,
and we can
hardly wait
to see what
this
handsome and
virile
herdsire
will
produce. We
do know that
Don Julio
Barreda
would be
proud to see
his Accoyo
tradition so
well
represented. |
